Calmophyt is a natural tranquilizer and sleeping pill with no side effects or addictive reactions. It contains three active substances from plants. These act synergistically to balance the nervous system, with the effect, among other things, of calming stress, promoting relaxation and improving the quality of sleep.
- 50% GABA, an "inhibitory" neurotransmitter, obtained by fermenting corn produced by the bacterium Lactobacillus hilgardii,
- 40% of 5HTP, a serotonin precursor extracted from the seeds of an African shrub, Griffonia simplicifolia,
- 10% L-theanine, a non-essential amino acid extracted mainly from green tea.
For one capsule: GABA 215 mg, Griffonia titrated at 99% in 5HTP 100 mg, l-theanine 35 mb, marine capsule.
The effects of ABMs
Gamma-aminobutyric acid binds to GABA receptors, which are the most numerous in the brain (40%). It is a chemical messenger that travels between synapses. It has an inhibitory effect that acts by decreasing transmission between neurons, thus alleviating neuronal overexcitement.
GABA is the precursor of melatonin, and provides Calmophyt with the elements to significantly raise the levels of melatonin and serotonin, the two hormones essential for nervous relaxation and stress relief. This natural anxiolytic therefore acts like barbiturates, tranquilizers, benzodiazepines, but without any of their secondary disadvantages.
GABA also has an effect on stress thanks to its muscle relaxant action (it reduces muscle tension and muscle spasms), as well as its soothing effect on the heart rate.
A deficiency in GABA secretion can also lead to sleep disturbances and insomnia. An intake of this neurotransmitter is therefore beneficial to improve these symptoms and promote deep, restful sleep, which does not lead to drowsiness during the day.
The ABM is therefore recommended in the following cases:
the difficulty in relaxing,
Mood disorders due to stress,
anxiety attacks and the feeling of losing control of events,
difficulty falling asleep and disturbed sleep.
The effects of 5HTP
It is produced by the body from tryptophan in protein foods. Once it crosses the blood-brain barrier, it is converted into serotonin, and thus acts as a neurotransmitter in the brain to regulate mood, appetite and sleep.
Several studies have shown that it acts like the antidepressants of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) family and has the same therapeutic qualities. Other studies have shown its usefulness as an alternative to conventional antidepressants, but without their drawbacks.
Therefore, it has the same treatment uses:
of the symptoms of fibromyalgia,
overweight (by appetite inhibition),
of migraine and chronic headaches.
The effects of L-theanine
It should not be confused with theine. L-Theanine is at the origin of the subtle "umami" taste of Japanese green teas. It is a non-essential amino acid derived from glutamine, which can therefore circulate in brain cells where it acts as a psychotropic drug, tempering the orthosympathetic nervous system.
It facilitates the production of GABA and participates in its concentration in the brain.
Finally, it stimulates the alpha brain rhythm which is, among other things, that of relaxation.
L-theanine works without side effects. It is useful on a mental and physiological level, especially for :
inhibit stress and anxiety by calming the mind,
lower heart rate and blood pressure,
develop concentration and memory,
improve the quality of sleep.
The active synergy between its three natural components makes Calmophyt a very effective biocompatible supplement on the mental and physical, which is intended for people who are stressed, tense, anxious, migraine sufferers, insomniacs, overweight ...
It is therefore recommended for :
mental agitation, anxiety, depression, stress,
chronic headaches, migraines,
soothe the heartbeat,
relieve muscle pain,
insomnia, unrefreshing sleep,
the heightened sensitivity of the sympathetic nervous system,
Box of 90 capsules.
1 - 3 capsules in the evening before bedtime.
Not recommended for pregnant women.
