Quercetin Phytosome

Quercetin, a natural flavonoid essential for health, is present in large quantities in the pigments of fruits, vegetables (especially the more colourful ones) and nuts, hazelnuts and almonds. Numerous studies reveal its effectiveness in several areas. In particular, it protects against the effects of free radicals and oxidation.

It is offered in a bioavailable form with no side effects: the quercetin phytosome extracted from the flower buds of Sophora japonica. In this food supplement, it is associated with coenzyme Q10, another antioxidant that completes and reinforces its effects.

Flavonoids, a large family

These plant pigments give fruit and vegetables their colour, fight the presence of bacteria, viruses and moulds, and also protect them from oxidation and aggressive sunlight. The plants richest in flavonoids are green tea, coffee, cocoa, grapes, garlic, red onions, apple skins, pomegranates, blackcurrants and blueberries.

Numerous studies have shown the properties of flavonoids. Of the more than four thousand flavonoids that exist in nature, quercetin is the most widely consumed by humans and the most necessary for their well-being.

Quercetin, the queen of flavonoids

In its natural state, quercetin has a strong bitter taste. However, bitterness has the ability to facilitate digestion. Several clinical studies have also demonstrated its powerful protective properties.

Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone)
This natural molecule, which is ubiquitous in the body, acts like a vitamin because its chemical structure is similar to that of vitamin K. It stimulates energy production in the cells. Its antioxidant action protects the body against free radicals.

It fights against oxidative stress

It activates energy production in the mitochondria

The interaction between quercetin and coenzyme Q10

Various studies show that taking quercetin and coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) together acts as a powerful antioxidant that plays an important role in vitality and well-being.
