Vitamin D3 + K2 Liposomal

The harms of a vitamin D deficiency have long been ignored because sun exposure and diet seemed to be sufficient sources for the body to make in ideal quantities.

But today, this lack has still been observed and a large part of the population is forced to recommend regular vitamin D3 supplementation.

Indeed, 80% of French people would be affected, especially women over 50 years of age, obese people, as well as pregnant women, especially those who will give birth in winter or spring. This applies to many other cases as well. The normal blood level of vitamin D should be above 75 nmol/l (or 30ng/ml).

The consequences of a lack

In humans, vitamin D is synthesized by skin cells thanks to the action of the sun's UV-B rays. It can also be provided by food, especially egg yolk, oily fish (herring, mackerel, sardines) and cod liver oil. Unfortunately, good quality food sources have become scarcer while exposure to the sun is no longer sufficient in a society that lives much less in the open. The lack of vitamin D is then felt.

Vitamin D3 contributes to:

- intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphorus resulting in bone consolidation and normal bone structure

- mineralization of teeth and maintenance of normal teething,

- normal calcemia

- to maintain normal muscle function

- the normal functioning of children's immune systems; necessary for their normal bone growth and development

- It plays a role in the process of cell division

A lack of vitamin D3 is therefore not without consequences and supplementation is highly recommended in a weakened population, whose body no longer synthesizes the quantities it needs.

Vitamin D3

We use vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) that is perfectly suited to the body as the main form of vitamin D it needs. Vitamin D3 accounts for 80-90% of the intakes it needs, which is not the case with vitamin D2.

Vitamin K2

Vitamin K2, on the other hand, is a powerful antioxidant that is very little present in the diet and is nevertheless essential for the health of the skeleton, especially in people whose bone fragility is increased by age, overweight, diabetes, pregnancy... It helps to fix calcium and transport it to bone tissue. Vitamin D3 and calcium supplementation is therefore not effective if you do not add vitamin K2.

The vitamin K2 used in our formula is Menaquinone MK7.

Liposomes, transport agents

These are small flexible vesicles that consist of a double layer of lipids encompassing a compartment filled with water in which they can encapsulate and protect active substances, here vitamin D3, to transport them safely into the cells where they will be released, all their properties intact.

How to use it

Directly on the tongue, anytime in the day.

14 drops can bring 2000 IU of vitamin D3 and 150 micrograms of vitamin K2

Flacon en verre teinté avec pipette 100 ml = environ 1800 gouttes.

Attention! overdose can lead to side effects such as intense thirst and dehydration, nausea and vomiting, kidney failure.
